Two days of rock-cut shrines
The unhurried version of Pudukkottai, spread across two days. The extra day buys two things. First, more of the district: alongside Sittanavasal, Narthamalai and Thirumayam, this itinerary reaches Kudumiyanmalai — where a seventh-century inscription records musical notation, one of the oldest such records anywhere — and Viralimalai, known for its Murugan temple and its peacocks. Second, and more importantly, it buys pace. These are archaeological sites with uneven ground and climbs, and doing them across two days rather than one is what makes them accessible to older travellers. The car is always nearby and there is no schedule pressing you along. AC hotel accommodation can be included if you select it.
That is largely what the second day is for. The same sites at half the daily pace, with the vehicle close by throughout. Some sites still involve steps and uneven ground, and we would rather tell you that in advance.

Inside 48 hours there is no refund, because the vehicle and driver are already committed to your booking. Approved refunds reach the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
2 Days 1 Night. That is the time we plan for; temples do not run to a timetable, and a driver who hurries you through a darshan is not doing his job.
