Cancellation & refund policy

Sign in to your account and cancel from the booking itself, or call +91 86376 78132. The refund is calculated from the moment we receive the cancellation, not from when it is processed.

Every booking is sold under one of the four policies below. Which one applies is fixed at the time you book and shown on your voucher — a later change to this page does not alter the terms of a booking already made.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.

Refunds go back to the card, account or UPI ID that paid — we cannot send a refund somewhere else, which is a rule set by the payment gateway rather than by us.

If we cancel a departure for any reason — a vehicle failure, too few passengers on a group tour, a temple closure, or a road we judge unsafe — you receive a full refund regardless of notice, or you may move to another date at no charge. The ladder above applies only to cancellations you make.

Tours may be curtailed or re-routed by weather, flooding, festival crowd control, temple closures, strikes or government restriction. Where that happens we will complete as much of the itinerary as is safe and possible. Costs already incurred on your behalf — accommodation booked, permits paid — are not refundable, and we will tell you exactly what those are rather than deducting a round number.

Temple entry fees, special darshan tickets, camera and video fees, and pooja or ritual costs are collected by the temple, not by us. Where a tour includes such fees in the fare this is stated on the tour page; otherwise they are paid on the day and cannot be refunded through us.

Poojas and rituals are non-refundable once confirmed, because the arrangements with the temple are made in advance. This is set out on the relevant booking pages before you pay.

A booking where nobody arrives at the pickup point, and no contact is made, is treated as a cancellation inside the shortest window — no refund. If you are running late, call. A driver will wait where he can.

If you think a refund has been calculated wrongly, write to care@mydivinetours.com with your booking reference. We will reply within 24 hours and show you the calculation. You can also raise it from the support section of your account, which keeps the whole exchange in one place.
