The Kalyana Sundareshwarar temple draws people seeking marriage blessings, and it draws them from a long way. Many visitors are here for the Thirumana Thadai Neenga Pooja, the ritual associated with removing obstacles to marriage, and the practical difficulty is always the same: the ritual has to be coordinated with the temple, and doing that from another city is awkward. That coordination is what this booking is really for. We arrange the vehicle and the timing, and can arrange an experienced ritual person if you want one. What we do not do is quote you a price for the pooja itself — that is set by the temple and the priest, not by us, and we would rather tell you that than print a number we cannot honour. The trip runs about four hours from Thanjavur or Kumbakonam, door to door.

Once confirmed, this booking is non-refundable. Ritual arrangements are made with the temple in advance and cannot be undone, so please be certain of the date before booking.
How long does it take?+
4 hours. That is the time we plan for; temples do not run to a timetable, and a driver who hurries you through a darshan is not doing his job.
